Story
Jin Rou wanted to be a cultivator. A man powerful enough to defy the heavens. A master of martial arts. A lord of spiritual power. Unfortunately for him, he died, and now I’m stuck in his body. Arrogant Masters? Heavenly Tribulations? All that violence and bloodshed? Yeah, no thanks. I’m getting out of here. Farm life sounds pretty great. Tilling a field by hand is fun when you’ve got the strength of ten men—though maybe I shouldn’t have fed those Spirit Herbs to my pet rooster.

Silly Chicken ...
Reviewed: 08-09-22
The introduction and how Jin decides to become a farmer happens fast in the beginning. It was a pleasant start in the character traveling to his new home was also quick. Once he starts his farm the fun begins. Following the Chicken and the growth of the farm is fun, light hearted, and full of adventure. The narrator does a top notch job bringing the story to life. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a light hearted and quick paced story.

Six months ago, Connor learned what the alien race that populated New Earth feared - a mysterious enemy who nearly brought about the collapse of an entire civilization. Instead, he receives a colonial distress beacon. Six months ago, they’d left people behind on a mission, all presumed dead. The beacon might be them, or it might be a trap, but Connor will not ignore the call for help.

Very good book kept me in text the entire time I was listening to it. it has enough detail about the various aspects to keep your interested in what's going to happen next but not so much that you get bored with one item, such as building, technology, and so on.

Story
New York Times bestselling historian Gavin Menzies presents newly uncovered evidence revealing, conclusively, that “the lost city of Atlantis” was not only real but also at the heart of a highly advanced global empire that reached the shores of America before being violently wiped from the earth. For three millennia, the legend of Atlantis has gripped the imaginations of explorers, philosophers, occultists, treasure hunters, historians, and archaeologists. Until now, it has remained shrouded in myth. Yet, like ancient Troy, is it possible that this fabled city actually existed?

Informative and telling

I always enjoy a good Atlantis story. I bought this on a whim since it had been a while for me. The story is told as the author goes around looking into ancient information about the people of Atlantis. The story is laced with facts and bits of information that is interesting to listen too. The story doesn't dwell too long in one area or another but keeps the discovery moving along at a comfortable pace. If you are looking for a story and history lesson that is informative but not dull then this is the book for you. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to understand where the Atlantis mystery came from.
