Story
What would you do if you woke up in a strange land? What if you had no idea why? Would you fight, or would you curl up into a ball and cry? What if your fate was sealed by a booming announcement that cracked across the vast blue skies? “Greetings, welcome to The Land of The Lessermen. You have arrived in the nick of time. War looms, its dire thunderheads crowding our once glorious sky. This land needs a strong hand such as yours. A hundred must battle for victory, and at the end, there can be only one.”

Sooooo let’s talk the cringe

(5 stars so you would know the truth)
This book seems like it was written by a first year college psych student, everyone of the male stereotypes are their while fighting to make sure that only the stereotypes that women approve of are included. As a married man I can say just wow J is annoying, like a puppy who has no will of his own,There hasn’t been a single idea that a beautiful woman gave J that he didn’t agree with either out right or by convincing himself (I have 4 hours left) why oh god why is this man such a simp!?!? It was a good storyline but everything that J says is just so far from what any male would say or do that it’s just sad, as you continue to read you just cringe more by the way guys want more than sex and relationships geez. How are you so bad at this

Growing up in Torma, the strongest of the shifter packs, I wanted nothing more than to find my true mate and live my best life. Of course, that dream existed before my father betrayed the pack and turned me into their punching bag. I’d all but given up, until a quirk of true mate genetics gifted me a true mate like no other.

Sooooooo this book said the word truth like 90 times , beast is anything but a beast such a soppy mess its hard to hear his parts i mean the only times he does anything remotely impressive is either the many many sex scenes or when Mira dies and don't even get me started on the the Phoenix metaphors, Shadow had no problem killing his mom as if everything he said in books 1 and 2 (WHICH WERE AMAZING) did not mean anything at all , Mira got so many random powerups that even Goku would be jealous, loved the mate bonding though
