About this listen

One dungeon floor down, but how many more to go?

Jay and company have survived the initial stages of the experiment. They have had to overcome everything from their dinner trying to eat them to murderous psychopaths trying to carve out a private fiefdom. Worse, they aren't even aware of the impact the dissent among the aliens running this experiment are having on them.

Now, all the survivors seem to want a piece of Jay, which when they are a bunch of hot girls, doesn't seem entirely bad. He just has to sort out who is trying to manipulate him and who wants to be on Team Jay - all the while, finding a way for humanity to survive.

pretty good addition to the 1st book, but i am exhausted with his internal strife over the situation. i understand he walks the moral high ground. it was established early on, i don't need scene after scene of it being discussed either in his head or verbally, just let his actions tell that story.

overwhelmed by internal dialogue.

So I really enjoy the story, Jays group continues to grow and the threat of the forlorn becomes real. You will not be disappointed by the narration as they did another amazing job

Book 2 another awesome dungeon level

So the story is great, hybrid fantasy fights with interludes of sci-fi. New questions arise from the ending. if you liked the first keep going. I know Jay will appreciate it!

Jay of course is still soo much fun to read about(kind of like playing a fun adventure video game) but it also amazed me how interesting every new character to his team are. They somehow all seem to be so unique in their own ways and personalities.

Story - The storyline is not that bad and the progression is great. The conversations are where this story falls a bit flat and confusing. For instance MC leaves the group without talking to them during his apology he randomly talk about an dark event in his life that makes him feel like everything is his fault which had nothing to do with his reason for leaving. It was a conversation change that had no reason or ground work. If he were trying to distract the girls it would at least be understandable but this was a just out of left field. That was just one of many conversations that left the feeling that something was missing between to points.

Super Natural - psionic powers! MC and humans are developing along a more magic/psionic tech path while the rest of the universe is on a high tech path. Makes it interesting to see how the differences will play out.

Narration - Narrators did a great job. Rebecca does a great job with the all the different female voices. It's easy to tell who is talking just based on that. Daniel did great as well with various ET life.

I have read all the books already and can say they only got better. I love the plot and sex scenes and like the fact that this author doesn't hold back on the kinks and provides all the spectrum to please most.
I don't like to give spoilers so I will just say that most is cover: love, action, survival, betrayals, sci-fi and even bros before hose lol

This is just great

The plot widens and thickens! Very much looking forward to the book in the series. Once again the VA’s performed excellently.

An excellent second installment
