Honestly if it wasn't for the fact that audible didn't let me return this, I almost DNFed it but didn't want to lose a credit for it.
I only bought it because it was a book rec, but honestly the MFC annoyed the crap out of me. Had to start and stop several times because of her on top that her performer literally whisper her whole performance.
If you were given this book rec from Tiktok.. PASS!!

I honestly tried to get through this book before I had to stop and return it. the amount of sexism and misogamy from the men in these book just turned me off from the book. I couldn't get passed chapter 5 before I had to stop.

The Story is great, but audio was blah

I wanted to listen to this story as is was a book rec and it sounded great, but I did also read the reviews and was like hopefully it's not that bad, the audio is bad. the story was great and if I actually had the time to sit down and read it I would have preferred it but I barely have the time for my self which is why I love audiobooks. both the Female and Male voice were just not professional, you can hear all the background noise and you can tell this was not in a sound proof room. in one of the 'spicy' scenes you can actually hear birds chirping in the background. The books if pretty good. I hope the writer has it re-recorded at some point.

With her, it was like emergency flares mixed with jet fuel. Or maybe just straight up napalm. Only one problem. She wouldn’t tell me her name or her number when she disappeared from the hotel room after the hottest night of my life.

It was alright. Worth the credit? Not really. Only reason I finished the book was so I didn’t feel like I wasted a credit.
The Narrators were great Elena & Sebastian are two of my favorite narrators so I never have a problem with how they read the story.
But the story was just so far out of realistic (yes i know it’s fiction) Holly annoyed the hell out of me, she is a rising country star that saw her time as limited and was ready to run back to her small town life at any minute. She literally made every excuse to run from Creighton at a drop.

The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

I actually really like this book I wasn’t sure because of the mixed reviews but it was actually very good. This was my first time reading this author, the book was a mix of romantic comedy and a little bit of drama but overall really enjoyed it. There was some points in the book that I wish had been elaborated a little bit more like when Stella caught Aiden. But overall it had a pretty good HEA
