I thought we were getting a real look at her life, struggles and circumstances, instead we get a bunch of contradictions, pointing fingers and overall no accountability. I feel really bad and sorry about the family situation because that was horrible what they did.

- The Justin breakup was just a bit unfair. They were both VERY young and when you're that young, you do stupid things and especially young privileged teens, Teenagers break up ALL the time, even when they are famous, and yes, very harshly, over text. Blaming Justin for the emotional state she was in after the breakup, isn't fair to him. Sure, he cheated. But so did she. Sure, I get that the abortion was very emotional but it was her choice. She didn't say Fe or Justin, who were present at the time, MADE her do it. She simply says, she loved him so much, she did it for HIM. This isn't justified (no pun intended) she had a choice, just like Jamie Lynn, at 16, to keep the child whether Justin agreed or not. And saying she only did it because she loved him shows more of her immaturity than anything else.
- The Kevin situation was TRULY the catalyst to her downward mental spiral. What some fans don't seem to think about was the fact that Kevin had the boys by court order, according to Britney herself. Which means, the court granted the custody of those kids to Kevin, which is very rare that the father would have that granted. So clearly we aren't getting the whole story here. She was unstable and I believe that.
- The father and family situation, I believe, was wrong, according to her words, If this is true, they did horrible things. On the other hand, I can see how some of the structures implemented to her were necessary at the time, nowhere near the need for a 13 year implementations, but necessary for her well-being and career. She was clearly showing some mental health concerns and I don't believe "Energy supplements" was really what was going on.

I don't know, I feel the book was all over the place and it reads like a teenagers ramblings and blaming other people for situations in her life and zero accountability for her actions. Justin and Britney broke up 21 years ago, she needs to learn to move past that. The average person doesn't still point fingers to their teenage bf/gf when they have moved on to different relationships that involve children. She had a few men in her life and not one of them stuck around very long. Sadly, its very telling to what she's NOT saying. I really hope she gets the help she needs. I've always been a fan.

Holy cow! What a twist! Even though I just KNEW something was up with this "person" all along, I was still on the edge of my seat waiting for the truth. Great book!

I absolutely loved "Until the end of the World" series and I listened to all three books in two days! Julia Wheelan did such an amazing job narrating... then this tragidy happened.

First, who the heck enjoys listening to this dual audio male/female arration? It is a horrible way to record an audiobook and completely throws any book down the toilet for me.

Second, Therese Plummer is NO Julia Whelan. Like her narrating wasnt bad enough, then they throw in the male voice during her narrating? complete garbage. I tried getting past it but her voice was like nails to a chalkboard for me. No. Luke Daniels is NOT my favorite narrator but I would have pushed through if they hadn't ALSO added Therese's voice in his part.

I didn't make it far, ten chapters and I felt like crying.. I really really really wanted to continue these series.

So disappointing.

What disappointed you about A Gift of Time?

What happened to this great trilogy? This book took the biggest nosedive into plain ol' filler text. It had soo much crap that I didn't care about.. So disappointing.

Has A Gift of Time turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Monique Makena’s performances?

Performance was good.. just like the other two books.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Gift of Time?

Re-Write

What disappointed you about Fire in You?

Narrator was horrible.

What could Jennifer L. Armentrout have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I'm sure the story is as good as the others in series but they killed it with the narrator, they should have stuck with Sophie.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Erin Bennett?

Sophie Eastlake

I don't know.. This book was heading in the same internal monologue as the first in the series. So disappointing.

I just can't listen to them.. arghh..

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Better Narration.. I couldn't listen to more than five chapters. They were just bad.

Would you ever listen to anything by Sawyer Bennett again?

Yes, I love this author and I'm disappointed that I wont be listening to this series.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

They were BLAND and LACKluster.. monotone.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I think the book had lots of potential if given different narrators. Christian Fox and Kate Rudd, maybe?

What did you love best about Royally Screwed?

I liked the storyline and how non-cheesy it was. Let's face it, Nick is NO Drew but i listened to this in one day, straight. I enjoyed it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked everyone! Henry was especially hilarious! Cant wait for his book.

Which scene was your favorite?

Without spoilers I can just say it was the scene where Nick told her to go. Emotional.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
