A wild ride fairytale.. funny zany
Reviewed: 08-29-19
It was a wildly told telling of this tale. Definitely for adults, due to content & language but it is pretty funny in parts. But have an open mind & be ready for the Kate McKinnon type material which is zany but creative & musically well done. Fun voices.

Story
In this lyrical, unsentimental, and compelling memoir, the son of a Black African father and a White American mother searches for a workable meaning to his life as a Black American. It begins in New York, where Barack Obama learns that his father - a figure he knows more as a myth than as a man - has been killed in a car accident. This sudden death inspires an emotional odyssey - first to a small town in Kansas, and then to Kenya....

Story
In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

Great read altogether! Surprisingly Relatable.

Such a joy to read through the many stories of every segment of her life. How honest & open about it all she was. But also as a woman, working mom & wife - It wa refreshing to know how relatable so many of the feelings & experiences she had are to me. It was also so cool to know all the different things about the White House & presidential life & changes. Loved it!

Story
In today's fast-paced world of competitive workplaces and turbulent economic conditions, each of us is searching for effective tools that can help us to manage, adapt, and strike out ahead of the pack. By now, emotional intelligence (EQ) needs little introduction - it’s no secret that EQ is critical to your success. But knowing what EQ is and knowing how to use it to improve your life are two very different things.

I truly truly love & believe in this whole concept! it's something I've always strived to do h didnt even realize it. Now I really want to take the EQ test. I want my husband to read it now, my kids to be taught this (more intentionally) and it's even a great sort of "training" to implement at work! So glad I came across this. Heard of it at a networking event by Dan Leonard where the whole event was centered around this idea & downloaded it.. so glad I did!! Share it.. read it & more than anything 》》 APPLY IT !! 《《
