Laugh Out Loud while I did my housework!

This story was so damn funny and so well narrated! I absolutely loved Olive and Birdie and admired their beautiful, quirky relationship. I listened to this story while doing all the mundane chores with my earbuds on. My husband heard me burst out laughing while doing the dishes and probably muttered to himself, yup! She's cray- cray! Highly recommend this amazing sweet, funny story.

What a great read! So funny and tender. I listened to this story mostly in my car and laughed my head off; several times nearly spitting out my coffee! I first read "The Love of My Afterlife" because it was on a Washington Post suggested Summer reading list. It was fantastic and then I was hooked! I will read many more of Ms. Greenwood's books because they are wonderful!

Warm story of love and loss

I loved the way this story was built, Every other chapter revealed the past's contrast to the present. It illustrated how what we experience as children build us into the adults we become. Beautifully written and , as always, a delight to listen to the Author narrate her own work. Every time I listen to Amanda Prowse 's story I smile at the end and feel lucky to have heard it .

Story
If she wasn’t dead already, Delphie would be dying of embarrassment. Not only did she just die by choking on a microwaveable burger, but now she’s standing in her ‘shine like a star’ nightie in front of the hottest man she’s ever seen. And he’s smiling at her. As they start to chat, everything else becomes background noise. That is until someone comes running out of a door, yelling something about a huge mistake, and sends the dreamy stranger back down to earth. And here Delphie was thinking her luck might be different in the afterlife.

Thomasina "Hitch" Waycott loves living and working on the remote family farm and B&B. But she also wants more. To see the world. To own her own home. To fall madly in love. But those are fairy tales, and if her life is a fairy tale, then she’s the ugly duckling. Her deformed lip, her crooked limbs and her weak heart have kept her from taking chances. But that’s about to change. When Grayson Potts comes to stay, he’s unlike anyone Thomasina has ever met.

I absolutely loved this book. It was beautifully written. I mostly listened to it on Audible, and thought it was a perfect touch that the author was also the narrator! I thought to myself, what a woman! Someone who could write something so beautiful and narrate her own work in such a perfect way. The writing and the narration was nothing short of spectacular and I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for writing such a heartfelt book Ms. Prowse

Story
The chaotic but happy equilibrium of the Nightingale family is thrown into disarray when Cecily - whose children can't remember her ever being remotely spontaneous - disappears to a Greek island with no warning or explanation. Her reasons for doing something so out of character are a total mystery to her three daughters, high-powered executive Felicity, unfulfilled GP Julia and organised mother-of-five Lily.

Story
No visitors. No nights spent away from the apartment. No disturbing the other residents, all of whom are rich or famous or both. These are the only rules for Jules Larsen’s new job as an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, one of Manhattan's most high-profile and mysterious buildings. As she gets to know the residents and staff of the Bartholomew, Jules finds herself drawn to fellow apartment sitter Ingrid. When Ingrid confides that the Bartholomew is not what it seems, Jules brushes it off as a harmless ghost story...until the next day, when Ingrid disappears.
