History and modern culture repeating itself. Are we doomed or can we stand up?

Love this book for its historical accuracy and the parallel it draws to American Christians today. Somebody needs to light a fire under all of us so we may stand up against the angel of death weaving its way through our culture.

Wow! What an amazing resource. Grateful that rabbi Kahn has been called to enlighten the world with the truth. I highly recommend this book, especially for believers in Jesus Christ. It will confirm your faith and open your eyes to what is really going on around you and how the spiritual world is affecting and infecting this current culture.

This book is basically the Clifton Chronicles based in Russia but the ending still has me confused. That said, it was enjoyable and the very last line of the book is a redeeming quality all by itself. I feel a bit stupid for not realizing who that was all along.

First, I loved the story. Incredibly fresh take on AI and relevant to someone like me in the software industry in Silicon Valley. Funny and serious at the same time. Most of the time books are better read than listened to, but not this one. The narrators were all great but especially January LaVoy. She was unbelievably awesome and truly made the novel for me. Outstanding job by everyone. Cannot recommend this book enough.

I guess you have to read it if you read the first two but it's mediocre at best. Predictable story, sanctimonious lecturing, and obscure historical references make it a bit of a bore.

Nice 2nd book in the trilogy. You need to get past the first few hours to figure out how it ties to the first book. Only negative is the terrible singing, just fast forward through all of those parts.

Had I realized this was written by the Twilight author, I probably would have skipped it. The first third of the book was really good and packed with action. Then the Twilight in her came out and a huge portion of the remainder was filled with cheesy romance, flowery dialogue, and far from reality romantic scenes. I also didn't care for the forced hatred between Alex and Kevin...it really made no sense at all. Bottom line, if the book would have stuck with the thriller/action plot line it would have been much better.

It's pitched as a thriller about a plane crash, but it's really a story about a bunch of characters that all happen to be on the same plane. I felt way too much was unresolved about each character and the ending was more abrupt than the plan crash itself. I wouldn't recommend.

I guess I'd say I ended up disappointed although I'd also say I really enjoyed the book. Each story tied together nicely in a way that told you a long history of two families. However, each story seemed to end without total resolution and leaving me feeling like something had always been left out.
