Story
>When South African conservationist Lawrence Anthony was asked to accept a herd of "rogue" wild elephants on his Thula Thula game reserve in Zululand, his common sense told him to refuse. But he was the herd's last chance of survival: they would be killed if he wouldn't take them. In order to save their lives, Anthony took them in. In the years that followed he became a part of their family. And as he battled to create a bond with the elephants, he came to realize that they had a great deal to teach him about life, loyalty, and freedom.

Story
“There is no human being on the face of this earth exempt from the Jewish influence. For as long as there has been history, the Jew has wandered through it, shaping it at times, riding the current silently at other times, but always leaving his mark. History without the Jew? It is inconceivable.”—Howard Fast. His popular history brings the history of the Jewish people into focus, from Genesis to contemporary times.

Good but for the most part!

I’m not a scholar of jewish history and found this book quite enlightening. However, the author seemed extremely harsh on Christians especially Paul. I am not trying to white wash the sin’s of Christians throughout history. Jesus and Paul never taught or condone those sins. Paul in fact took up collections for the poverty stricken Jews in Israel and took that offering to Israel. His harshness was highly inappropriate in a number of places and inaccurate in others. He also had no clue as to Jesus his ministry or his relationship with the Pharisees.
