Story
Jason and his companions managed to forestall the inexorable undead, but their battle is far from done. Both they and their enemies are scattered across a strange realm, one that someone must conquer if anyone is to get out alive. Territory by territory, factions fight to reunite their people and conquer the realm. Jason must contend with alliances he doesn’t want, friends he cannot find, and enemies ranging from angelic despots to the power of an undead god. He must face a realm that has been warped by his own mind and find a way to save a friend whose sacrifice got them this far.

it cleared up many things and he finally got truly powerful, but the ending was a bit off. overall a great book. i do hope the system thing was just a joke however, because i liked this series due to its lack of a system figure

I’m afraid our time together will be cut short
Reviewed: 06-07-23
A true masterpiece worthy of being read by monarchs! The only bad part is that the series is over. That and that Lindon didn’t stride into the heavens with his entire sect and for the never-laugh division, truly a missed bloopers opportunity! I’m afraid I must echo eithans words to Lindon in that our time together are cut short, me and the series, truly tragic that this series has ended but in what a fitting way it did. Speaking of way… any-way I’d just like to thank you Travis for sticking with the readers and will and for narrating so well. Who knows maybe one day Will will have mercy and give a spin off series though that future is obscure with only a 30% chance to occur, and the reader never bet on slim odds.
Fair well to our favorite little baby dreadgod and his new family
And fair well to Surial and little blue (my favorite characters)

Good as always, but I’m still sad
Reviewed: 06-05-23
As always with this series the book was high quality, had a lot of funny moments and a really awesome long battle, plus I like that we see more of what an astral king is. There was a mild audio error in like two chapters but other than that the performance was top quality.
I think you did a great job at adding to the story but only the right amount, not so much you can’t take it all in but not so little as to be nothing.
The biggest con is how long we need to wait for the next book!

Story
Jason arrives at a kingdom in peril and he's surprised to discover that it's not his job to save it. With the authorities fulfilling their responsibilities (for once), he looks forward to some quiet time to rest and recuperate. The locals might not find ceaseless monster onslaughts and an interdimensional invasion relaxing, but Jason has had a rough few years. He's doing his best to let go of his anger. While his team is caught up in duty, Jason has no shortage of people looking to interfere with his rest. Enemies—old and new—are circling, and even would-be allies are trouble.

Favorite series by far
Reviewed: 10-01-22
I found this series when book two came out and I found it the most enjoyable series I’ve seen by far. For instance, this series has the funniest main character I’ve seen while still being a chilly and cold character at times, they are strong but far from the strongest, and it’s a very original series in terms of the actual content. It is not constantly repeating the same stats, which is nice in a lit RPG. This is the only review I’ve written on this series, and I am going to keep it at that unless I’m completely disappointed, which I doubt I will be. Also, props to Heath Miller on doing so amazing at the voice acting, very pleasing to listen to.
