Story
Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. This is not a metaphor. You will dismiss this as ridiculous fearmongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fearmongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature secretes a chemical into the brain to stimulate skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That’s just as well, since the “cure” involves learning what a chain saw tastes like. You can’t feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings.

John, he's very loveable
Have you listened to any of Nick Podehl’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I haven't, though I'd like to hear more of him. He does the characters very well and puts so much excitement into the words.
If you could take any character from This Book Is Full of Spiders out to dinner, who would it be and why?
John, just for his tales of what he's done

Story
Craig Beck is a well-regarded family man with two children, a nice home and a successful media career. A director of several companies & at one time the trustee of a large children’s charity. Outwardly, Craig was a highly successful & functioning professional man in spite of a ‘2 bottles of wine a night’ drinking habit. For 20 years he struggled to control his drinking, all the time refusing to label himself an alcoholic because he didn't believe he met the stereotypical image that the word portrayed.

Would you listen to Alcohol Lied To Me - Extended Edition again? Why?
I have listened to the book a couple times already and will more than likely listen to it again. The message is straight forward and obvious. Just takes some heads a bit more to accept what's right in front of them. :)
Who was your favorite character and why?
The authour. His personal experiences are helpful and real. Makes a difference.
