I couldn't finish it. To be honest, I'm surprised I was able to finish book one. The way she hurts him because of the past yet forgives everyone else. He tried so hard to get her to forgive him, yet she was stuck in the past. He didn't deserve the mind games or constant hurt.

It started out like any other morning on the train - until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God? Actually, he looked like a god. That was about it.

This book captivated me. Not only because I love Teddy Hamilton but because of all the heartbreak, lies, and drama. Breslin grew up in a shit household. Mom left. Dad became a drunk. And Asher comes in as her night in shining armor. Until he wasn't. They were high school sweethearts. On prom night, he tore everything they had and everything she believed into shreds. Landon comes in and tried to love her, but she couldn't give him the one piece of herself that he wanted. Her heart. Complicated doesn't even begin to cover this duet. My mind is blown with this one.

I tried. I tried and tried again but I cannot for the life of me finish the first book. I tried reading it and couldn’t get half way through. I bought the audiobook thinking I’d be able to get through it but I was wrong.
I’m so confused by what is going on. Why she’s suppose to bring them down and why the horsemen are trying to get their revenge. I wanted to finish this but just can’t. 😔
