This was a great listening experience! The author goes into depth of the history of caffeine, it’s implications on a chemical, societal and behavioral level. It was easy to listen to and very interesting with many “a-ha”-moments.
Would absolutely recommend.

The lack of variety in the author's vocabulary was extremely disappointing, and it ended up ruining the stories for me. The concept sounded great, but I found that it was always the same framework with different names - all in all, it was just too repetitive to be enjoyable.

Where does The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very high. I usually listen to books I've already read and that have more of a storyline to it. But this one is really well done!

What did you like best about this story?

The author's word choice might seem unorthodox to some, but he is telling the truth uncensored and as ugly as it is. I love the concept of his message and it opened my eyes to some things I didn't realize before.

Have you listened to any of Roger Wayne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I've listened to his work and I really liked it!
His voice carries the perfect amount of sarcasm for this book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book was an eye-opener. The counterintuitive approach to being happy is really interesting and some things were so obvious that I felt quite stupid because I hadn't noticed them before. I really appreciated this book!

Any additional comments?

Highly recommend!!

Would you listen to City of Bones again? Why?

I listen to it over and over. I love the story and the narrator's voice is so soothing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of City of Bones?

No spoilers for anyone ;)

What does Mae Whitman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

the way she uses her voice to emulate the characters is very good and her voice overall is soothing. it's a pleasure to listen to her

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Jace's humor and Clary's retorts always make me laugh or grin, while Simon's "anxious humor" makes me roll my eyes.

Any additional comments?

I just love this series. I highly recommend it!
