Story
After Task Force Ember’s successful intervention in Ukraine, John Dempsey disappears without a trace—with no notice or explanation given to his teammates. Spotty intelligence eventually places him in Russia where he is rumored to have been captured by the Russian FSB and is now presumed dead. Mourning his loss, Ember is forced to pick up the pieces, restructure, and continue their mission of keeping America safe. As the president’s “go-to” black ops asset, Ember is directed to find and finish off the Russian spymaster Arkady Zhukov and any last remnants of Zeta cell.

Story
Will Slater is on the hunt. Three months ago he found a list belonging to drug-slinging gangster Dwayne Griggs. A collection of blackmail, pictures of unspeakable horrors. He’s not going to stop until the men in the photos are dead and buried. He’s already mown through five of them. The sixth poses a problem. Kian Grant, an ex-televangelist preacher with murky ties to the Boston underworld, knows something’s coming. Before Slater can even approach his suburban mansion, Grant is gone, fleeing south over the border to the mountain town of Durango. Slater knows what that means.

Story
When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity. Cloning, feel-good drugs, anti-aging programs, and total social control through politics, programming, and media: has Aldous Huxley accurately predicted our future? With a storyteller's genius, he weaves these ethical controversies in a compelling narrative that dawns in the year 632 A.F. (After Ford, the deity). When Lenina and Bernard visit a savage reservation, we experience how Utopia can destroy humanity.

Michael York should stick to the stage and leave narration to the pros.

Had trouble with the pompous voice

Unfortunately Micheal York’s performance was grating on nearly every word spoken, ruined a great book for me!!
