Like what to do when a super-hot guy catches you sneaking around in his basement, or what to do when a mysterious package shows up with tickets to a hockey game (because, apparently, he’s a professional athlete). Nor how to handle it when you get to the game and realize he’s freaking famous, since half of the 20,000 people in the stands are wearing his jersey.

Sweet Feel Good Story

This story was really sweet and light hearted with a little bit of spice. I definitely enjoyed the storyline. It is difficult to get past the man reading the women’s lines and vice versa. I wish they would keep the dialogue to the correct voice. It makes me laugh when it’s the man reading the women’s line in the steamy scenes. Probably better to read the book yourself but I got through it!

Okay, so my bad for assuming the guy I was going on a date with wasn't married. And my bad for taking him to a friend's house for dinner, only to find out my friend is also friends with his wife. Because, in fact, he is married. And she happens to be at my friend's house because her husband was "busy working." Confused? So am I. Unsurprisingly, my date's wife is super angry about finding out that her husband is a cheating asshole. Girl, I get it. Then to make matters more convoluted, there is the man sitting next to my date's wife. A man named King, who is apparently her brother.

I love the spice, I love the characters, King is my man. I liked Nero but preferred this better. I felt the audio was a little less dramatic and more believable for these characters. Excited to read the next one.

I just hate when they don’t have the man read the men’s lines and the woman read the women’s lines. I feel like there were moments I was so into it but when a dude starts saying a woman’s like in a sex scene it’s like ehhhh. I was recommended this by someone that read the book and they loved it so maybe skip the audio on this one.

I hate Dante Moretti. He is cold, calculating, and vicious. It’s no secret that he wiped out his former fiancée and her entire family on the eve of their wedding. He’s the kind of evil that makes even devils cry. But that’s not why I hate him.

I read the first You are a Badasss and it changed me on so many levels. When I learned Jen was writing You are A Badass at Making Money I knew it was THE book I needed and decided to listen to it in the car on my very long drive to work.
