The Broken Code was the best series from the Warrior Cats since A New Prophecy. I haven't gotten more attached to the characters in awhile.
I absolutely loved this one. Very sad ending. Bristlefrost was by far one of my favorite characters of the series.

Good Book but...

I'm not a big fan of the ending. I don't feel like there was enough resolution. I never saw the show, but had heard of it, I wanted to read/listen to the book first. I absolutely love the premise.

Decent Enough
Reviewed: 03-22-21
I'm not usually into single book stories, I often feel like there isn't enough time to really get attached to the characters like you do in a series. This is the first single book I've read in a long time and the first Mark Edwards and it wasn't too bad. I liked the writing style enough that I'll be likely to read more of his stuff.
That being said, it wasn't perfect. I really enjoyed the main character's point of view, and found myself getting attached to him, but the other characters I didn't find quite as interesting, nor compelling. I wanted Adam to succeed, but ended up somewhat annoyed by almost everyone else. I also very much disliked the very odd ending.
The performance was absolutely amazing. Will M. Watt has a voice sweet as honey.
Overall, it's worth checking out, despite the negative.

I absolutely love this author and loved this series. I want more! I fully endorse it. If you like romance and a little action, plus an intelligent lead, you'll love it too.

Very Weird... but Fun

This was a fun read but a very odd story. The only thing that I would change is the ending... It was very abrupt.
