About this listen

Once in a lifetime, a writer puts it all together. This is James Patterson's best work ever.

Total

For 36 years, James Patterson has written unstopable, pulse-racing novels. Now, he has written an audiobook that surpasses all of them. Zoo is the thriller he was born to write.

World

All over the world, brutal attacks are crippling entire cities. Jackson Oz, a young biologist, watches the escalating events with an increasing sense of dread. When he witnesses a coordinated lion ambush in Africa, the enormity of the violence to come becomes terrifyingly clear.

Destruction

With the help of ecologist Chloe Tousignant, Oz races to warn world leaders before it's too late. The attacks are growing in ferocity, cunning, and planning, and soon there will be no place left for humans to hide. With wildly inventive imagination and white-knuckle suspense that rivals Stephen King at his very best, James Patterson's Zoo is an epic, nonstop thrill ride from "One of the best of the best" (Time).

Wow

I liked the audio production and the readers performance was well done. The story was a bit predictable and transparent-people BAD, environment-GOOD, got it. I haven't heard that in a while 😏

Good production and performance

I really loved the premise of this book. I don't know if the science is real, but it certainly has me thinking! I really liked the author's style of writing too.

Most unique "zombie" story ever!

While I'm not into doomsday scenarios, this story made me want to build a well stocked, impenetrable bomb shelter! Well done!

This book is truly an amazing read. The first half is a bit slower, introducing the concepts, characters, and outlining the plot, while still keeping you interested and wanting to read/listen more. The second half is full of suspense, making stopping difficult. There were several parts that gave me chills, and some of the overlying message is something that I will thinking about for some time. I would absolutely recommend this.

Wonderful Book and Narrator

The end of the world has been done so many times but never quite likes this, and amazing spin on the whole apocalypse genre. The performance by Synder is amazing and one of the best I ever heard. Great idea with great execution.

Great twist.

This is an ok book. The story is good, but it jumps all over. There are really captivating parts, but for the most part, it feels like a really good high school student short story. It’s not bad, not great....it’s ok!

It’s ok!
