Now, for the first time in 45 years, Agatha Christie’s beloved character returns to the page for a globe-trotting tour of crime and detection. Interesting, but misses the mark

The stories weren’t bad, but they miss Jane Marple’s character. Got some of the other characters completely wrong as well. It would have been better to say it was a completely different old maid sleuth rather that try to pass her off as a beloved Christie character.

Excellent introduction...

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Short stories and novellas are sometimes an excellent way to explore unfamiliar authors or series characters. It provides an intense and quick immersion into the story lines.
Would you be willing to try another book from the authors? Why or why not?
I am already a huge fan of the Iron Druid Chronicles and Kevin Hearn, but now I am very interested in Ms. Dawson's and Mr. Wendig's series as well. I now have some new options for my "want to read" lists.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
There are so many inflections and characterizations that are enhanced by a truly proficient narrator. The talents used for this audio book make the experience almost interactive by bringing you into the world of the characters.
Do you think Three Slices needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Not really, These are three stories that have series already. They are interludes in a larger storyline.
