A libertarians masturbatory fantasy
Reviewed: 07-22-24
I've read and enjoyed several other books by Nuttall, but I'm genuinely not sure I'll buy another after listening to this crap.
An utterly unrealistic plot. My suspension of disbelief sank quickly every time I tried to continue this drek. At least the needlessly sexist control freaks stopped short of kidnapping their own families, or maybe they do and I just didn't have the will to continue that far into it.
The characters might work if the plot was believable, but it's not and they don't. The plot might work if the characters were actually smart, but they aren't and it doesn't. It was an interesting concept but it was hamhandedly wrapped in charaters and plot elements that made me cringe and switch to a different book every time I listen for more than a minute or two.

Great addition

I enjoy this series immensely, the only issue I had with this book is that Star Rouge: King of thieves takes place during it, and the reading order is messed up, so I found out the plot and ending of that book before I knew it existed.
