In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Heartfelt
Reviewed: 12-22-23
Britney Spears is from my era just two years older than me. I performed (danced and lip sync’s) to one of her songs (Lucky) in front of my entire high school for the homecoming queen pageant so I definitely feel a special connection. When I say it’s such a good book, I am not saying what happened to her is good. It’s awful what she’s been through, but so happy for her and proud of her for being able to get her freedom back and tell the world about it. So many people are trapped in plain sight and she is bringing awareness and hope. Love you Britney! ❤️

Favorite Book

I have loved many of Liane Moriarty’s books but this is officially my favorite. (I also love “What Alice Forgot” and a “The Hypnotist’s Love Story”.) So many relatable, beautiful and funny anecdotes as well as a “can’t stop listening, edge of my seat” story line. I will definitely listen to this one over and over again. Thank you for this beautiful book. 💕
