Perhaps I am missing something, but I find this book laborious to listen to. I find very little new information about dealing with people here. The basic premise could be one lined - treat people you are dealing with with respect and courtesy and ocassionally ask for a deal (bargain and/or discount). It may be good for someone not street savey or someone who never had to deal with another individual, but come on, give us a break. I personally feel I wasted good time and money on this one. I am half-way through and don't intend to finish - went to far already.

I am only halfway through this listen, but must say the ideas and concepts presented so far can be life changing (life improving) if one decides to use them. To think Maltz first wrote PC in 1960 - he was a true pioneer of the self-improvement movement. I am not quite certain what is Kennedy's work and which is Malt's work, however the two mesh well and give the listenner a lot to work with. It is not what happen's to us that impacts us as much as how we perceive what happens to us. Insecure individuals usually attempt to display power and material things to show their worth and if we realize this we won't let their quirks effect us as we may otherwise do. Also, visualization can often be as effective as physically doing something in regards to learning something - visually practising the piano or golf for example. These are just a few of the concepts presented. All in all I feel most anyone can benefit from listenning and practicing some of what is presented in this book.
