Story
It started out like any normal day. Then the fender bender happened. The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth. Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about. Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

The story and narrator was great, but the volume needs to be fixed. It was very distracting to have the volume fluctuating up and down throughout the story. Sometimes it is loud and then you can't hear the narrator's voice. This needs to be fixed. What you could hear of the narrator is great.

Not with her peers, not with her contemporaries, only with her family. But everything changes when the Earth is attacked, and Cassandra and her niece, Victoria, are the only survivors. Great book, but performance effects unnecessary.
Reviewed: 06-29-16
The story was great and the narrator's did a good job; however, the background noises took away from everything. The music and sound effects became an annoying distraction that made me have to go back and re-listen to multiple parts thinking that I had missed something. In some cases I had. 15 to 30 second pauses at the end of the chapters made me think that the program had stopped, and at the beginning of each chapter made listening uncomfortable at times. I am an avid reader, and love to turn the words written on the page into a picture in my mind. If you had allowed the narrator's to do it without the background and lengths of silence, it would have been an amazing audio book, and shortened the length saving you money.
