Story
It’s still winter, but everyone’s on the move. Rags the goblin is heading north, seeking allies against the Goblin Lord. And Erin is going home...or trying to, at least. She’s determined to bring back cheer to The Wandering Inn - as well as Christmas! But the coldest time of the year leads to strange encounters with a number of people. At the same time, Ryoka Griffin is far from what she would consider to be “home”. Deep in the north, in the city of Invrisil, she finds herself as the guest of Magnolia Reinhart.

good grief I love this series. I can't stop listening but it breaks my heart when I get to the end. I'm impatiently waiting for the next book now. the narrator makes this come to life and the series wouldn't be the same without her.

I am in love with The Wandering Inn. The writing is wonderful and the narration is outstanding. Ive laughed, cried and shared a gambit of emotions with these characters. Pirate aba is soooo good. I dont think I've ever been as entwined in a story as I have been in this one. But it wouldn't be as amazing if Andrea Parsneau weren't narrating it. She is fantastic. She has a different distinguishable voice for each character. I can't wait for more from these two!

Story
It's crazy how fast the buzz comes back after you've been sober for so long. Whiskey stood there, on my doorstep, just like he had one year before. Except this time, there was no rain, no anger, no wedding invitation - it was just us. >It was just him - the old friend, the easy smile, the twisted solace wrapped in a glittering bottle. It was just me - the alcoholic, pretending like I didn't want to taste him, realizing too quickly that months of being clean didn't make me crave him any less.

I am a total wreck after this book. I know that the writing was great. I really got into the story. I felt the characters. This author does a great job with her development, etc. blah blah blah.... But...
OMFG!
I wanted to rip my hair out for most of this book! It is so full of angst and (in my opinion) unnecessary self destruction and torture. I almost stopped listening but I was so invested in the characters that I had to finish it. Then, when I got to the ending I was pissed all over again cause after all the BS throughout the story the ending felt so anticlimactic and abrupt that I wanted to scream.
I cried, I screamed, I think I hit something during a couple places. I almost started hoping the either the H or h would just die and finish out this tragedy. It does have a HEA I suppose but it was unsatisfying.
The narrator was ok..... her voice is a lil annoying but you get used to it and eventually you don't even noticed it over all the screaming you'll be doing in your own head at the main characters (and the author).

I gave this book 5 stars only because there isn't a 6th star option. I loved this book. The characters were great as well as the story itself. It was the perfect combination of romance and hot sex. I laughed, cried, sighed, and wished for a better life through the whole book. I just wish Kresley Cole would write about 10 more right now. She is amazing.

Story
My head and heart had been at odds for the last two years because of Devin McIntyre, and my relationship with Aiden had only complicated matters. Still, I craved both men. Just when I thought the decision was taken from me, a choice between the two became inevitable. The two men I had attached myself to emotionally and physically had already told me everything I needed to know.

OMG, I don't understand. I love this series and the narrator is the same as the first 2 books but she did terrible in this one. She isn't the best narrator anyway but this one is almost painful to listen to. Her awkward reading really takes away from the story.
Other than that the story is great. I love this author.
