Story
Millennial Hospitality is not like any other audiobook you may have heard about aliens. You will find out many new things such as the answer to the question, "Where do the children of aliens play?" This audiobook is about friendship, romance, and terror and is based on the true life experiences of the author, who claims he is not an alien.

Really made me think about how fear can block communication and how cultural misunderstanding can lead to conflict.

Story
Placed on a ventilator for lung failure in 1999, M.K. McDaniel fought for her life in a drug-induced coma for three weeks. Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat is based on a story of M.K.’s experiences before, during, and after a dark near-death experience. Her family waited and prayed, totally unaware of the horrors M.K. was bravely facing and miserably enduring in a seemingly eternal hell, culminating in her eventual glimpse of heaven and chat with her deceased fiancé.

Story
Once Donald Trump’s fiercest surrogate, closest confidant, and staunchest defender, Michael Cohen knows where the skeletons are buried. This is the most devastating business and political horror story of the century. As Trump’s lawyer and “fixer”, Cohen not only witnessed firsthand but was also an active participant in the inner workings of Trump’s business empire, political campaign, and presidential administration.

Disturbing...as expected

It is very sad to see how people become addicted to power. So often it seems that large amounts of money lead to large amounts of power. After that, the human brain is at high risk of changing its neuronal connections in a similar manner as occurs with drugs or alcohol. At least Michael Cohen has a partial self-awareness regarding this condition. I do, however, pity the man in the top position who seems to have evaded self-awareness for 70 plus years.

Story
Mary Stewart, one of the great British storytellers of the 20th century, transports listeners to rural Northumberland for this tale of romance, ambition and deceit - a perfect fit for fans of Agatha Christie and Barbara Pym. Whitescar is a beautiful old house and farm situated in Roman Wall country. It will make a rich inheritance for its heirs, but in order to secure it, they enlist the help of a young woman named Mary who bears remarkable resemblance to missing Whitescar heiress Annabel Winslow. Their deception will spark a powder keg of ambition, obsession and long-dead love.

I have loved this story since I was a young teen. It is a skillfully crafted story that intrigues both the emotions and the intellect. I did note a few differences between that hardback book I read so many times and the audio version and wondered if I had dropped into another time string or something mystical like that. The audio was great, however, and beautifully performed. I highly recommend it!
