I could visualise every moment as if I was there. Well written, beautifully recreated by the cast and I will listen to again and again as I have the other books in the series.

Story
R is a zombie. He has no name, no memories, and no pulse, but he has dreams. He is a little different from his fellow Dead. Amongst the ruins of an abandoned city, R meets a girl. Her name is Julie, and she is the opposite of everything he knows - warm and bright and very much alive, she is a blast of colour in a dreary grey landscape. For reasons he can't understand, R chooses to save Julie instead of eating her, and a tense yet strangely tender relationship begins.

Never Never, a novella series. Book one of three. Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of 14. Complete strangers since this morning. He'll do anything to remember. She'll do anything to forget. This novella is recommended for people age 16+ due to mild language and sexual content.

Story
They say that the cure for love will make me happy and safe forever. And I've always believed them. Until now. Now everything has changed. Now, I'd rather be infected with love for the tiniest sliver of a second than live a hundred years suffocated by a lie. There was a time when love was the most important thing in the world. People would go to the end of the earth to find it. They would tell lies for it. Even kill for it. Then, at last, they found the cure.

What made the experience of listening to Carve the Mark the most enjoyable?
So well read, bringing the characters alive, just as I imagined them in the book.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Akos, the main male character in the book is loyal, wise and dependable.
Which character – as performed by Austin Butler and Emily Rankin – was your favorite?
Cyra was brought to life for me by Emily Rankin.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Since she was 8 seasons old Cyra has endured the gift of pain, a pain that only the enslaved Akos can ease. Both carry marks carved into their skin, one for each person they have been forced to kill. While fighting against the tyranny of Cyra's older brother together they learn that the condition of monstrousness doesn't have to be permanent.
