Story
When Michael meets Harold in what he thinks is a chance encounter in downtown Chicago, this young, cocky entrepreneur has no inkling of the journey of self-discovery and growth he is about to embark on. Harold instructs his protégé about the most valuable discoveries, insights, and lessons he has learned during his life’s journey. In turn, Michael learns what it takes for true success in living, business, mentorship, and succession. Harold shows Michael that it is important in life to leave a worthy legacy. But Harold also has much more in store for him.

I really really enjoyed this book, it was a great story that very cleverly mixed complex finance and business concepts with real life scenarios. I don’t have a business background and the author gave me key lessons that I could apply in many aspects of my life. I learned about being yourself based on your values and core principles, about friendship, family, about building a business, and leaving a legacy, mentorship, and more. For the audiobook, I loved the way the story was described but also the sounds effects were perfect to make you feel like you were right there at the scene, for example when the main characters of the story were having coffee at that diner, you can hear background noise effects, laughs. In other moments, you can hear some soft piano music background which make it very easy to follow the story. All and all I highly recommend this book, it’s full of life lessons that could mark your life.
