Story
The year is AD 95, and John, the one whom Jesus called "beloved", is the last of the 12 apostles still alive. Now nearing 90, John is still committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. When a renegade begins misleading the masses with dangerous, heretical teachings, John is called by God to write a gospel to show that Jesus was, in fact, the Son of God.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

There is a lot of emotion in this book, and every word feels genuine and authentic. Some may not agree with his account of his life, but it is HIS life. Who has any right to challenge him on that?
I was once a fan of the royal family, but have not been for almost twenty years now, and Harry’s book has only further validated why I feel that way. I wish him well. I wish him success outside the trappings of royal life, but I am genuinely sad that his family’s values are as they are now. Keep your priorities straight Harry. You have fought hard to be heard.

Bears Listening to Twice
Reviewed: 01-13-23
There is a lot in this book - read it twice. It contains valuable information that answers questions on multiple levels. I would have preferred a different narrator, but that is just a personal preference. I think a narrator, with their tones and inflections, can help you hear beyond the written words, and for me, this gentleman (while good) was not the best choice for this particular book.
