OK story Great performance But seriously

****SPOILERS**** the storyline was interesting and the performance was great. Who doesn’t like a happily ever after. But had I known that the the story’s main story arc was that aliens forced captives to have forced sex (the R word) until they liked it just to be able to communicate with them……. Yea won’t be reading any more of this series.

My new stepbrother is insufferable. You'd think it wouldn't matter since I won't be here for long, but this guy gets under my skin like no one ever has. All-American, baby-faced, blue-eyed band dork and star soccer player. Everything about him is the picture of perfection—unlike me. I don't think Do Gooder knows I'm starting senior year late. And he definitely doesn't know why. I've got secrets I'm taking with me to the grave.

The underlying story was good, unfortunately….
Reviewed: 07-16-22
Ok so I will start with saying the actual storyline is actually pretty good. The characters are really interesting and the love story is epic.
Unfortunately the overall experience is very cringe. It’s a 20 hr book with 5 hours of great story and 15 hours of intricately scripted literal porn. I had to cringe for most of the narration listening to hours and hours of overly descriptive and repetitive sexual acts. ( if that’s your thing then this is the book for you).
I definitely could have done without the obligatory terms peppered in just to appease the Woke Zealots. I should have realized where this was heading when the story opened with a ridiculous trigger warning for overly sensitive readers.

Book one was phenomenal but I have no idea what happened to book 2. the story is horrible all we do is jump from character character character and continually just ask what the point in that is. Instead of character development we get Benediction I feel like I just set through eight hours of Sunday school. Since I finally made it through this book I feel like I have to read book 3 but I’m not even hopefully optimistic at this point that the story line can be redeemed.

Story
You belong to me and I know it down deep, in muscle and bone, where my wolf lives. Avery Rhine isn’t an average homicide detective with the Chicago PD. In fact, Avery isn’t an average anything. Sure, as an omega he knows he’s at the bottom of the food chain, but that’s never slowed him down. He’s got a great life, complete with a loving family and a best friend who’d take a bullet for him, so what more could he possibly want or need? Except, maybe, for the world to change.

If your into Furrys or sub dom lovemaking with a little bit of story mixed in this a great book for you. I lost interest after the author tried to justify brutal sex. Even if it’s just a part of the world that was created. I don’t ever want to visit this one again.

Story
Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it. Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things. But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them? Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated. Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

Story
I love him. And I’m pretty sure he loves me back...even though he’s straight. When I first met Carter King, I knew he was something special. I imagined us being together, and we are, but only as friends. Best friends! I’m trying to be cool with that, even though I know he has secrets, and there have definitely been mixed signals. I don’t want a crush to ruin what we already have. Then again, if there’s any chance that we can be together, it’s worth the risk, because Carter could be the love of my life. Or he might be the boy who breaks my heart.

Disappointed Ending
Reviewed: 06-24-21
After making it thru the first 2 novellas (complete novels is a major stretch) I felt I had to trudge thru till the end. And now I’m just sad…. *** SPOILERS AHEAD*** There was no climax, the main characters simply ended in the same places they started…. Angsty and Winey. I would have thought at the very least Cosmo would figure out how selfish moody and annoying he is. I honestly was hoping John would dump him at the end.

Story
Most people called it a cult. But for 20 years, Josh and Caleb called it home. In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farmwork and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners' world. But Joshua doesn't need temptation to sin. His whole life he's wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves. It can never be.

Dake Bliss should never be allowed to narrate another audiobook. His monotonous monotone and lack of any vocal range whatsoever almost ruined the whole experience. ***Thank god Teddy Hamilton narrated the other half of the story which honestly saved it for me. Teddy Hamilton is simply amazing. I could listen to him narrate a book about laundry soap.

Story
Cosmo Saville adores his new husband, but his little white lies and some very black magic are about to bring their fairy tale romance to an end. Someone is killing San Francisco's spell casters, and the only person Cosmo can turn to - the man who so recently swore to love and cherish him - isn't taking his phone calls. The only magic police commissioner John Joseph Galbraith believes in is true love. Discovering he’s married to a witch - one with something alarmingly like magical powers - is nearly as bad as discovering the man he loved tricked and deceived him.
