Story
You can believe because of the evidence, not in spite of it. For the first 35 years of his life, J. Warner Wallace was a devout atheist. After all, how can you believe a claim made about an event in the distant past for which there is little forensic evidence? Then Wallace realized something. Christianity was a lot like the cold cases he solved as a homicide detective - cold cases that turned out to have enough evidence, eyewitnesses, and records to solve.

Too many crime stories and not enough theology

I was hoping to get some more evidence in relation to Biblical authenticity but unfortunately it just doesn't get there...
Sticking with the consensus of Biblical Scholars on this one.

Story
Written in India in the early eighth century CE, Santideva's The Bodhicaryavatara takes as its subject the profound desire to become a Buddha and save all beings from suffering. The person who enacts such a desire is a Bodhisattva. Santideva not only sets out what the Bodhisattva must do and become; he also invokes the intense feelings of aspiration which underlie such a commitment, using language which has inspired Buddhists in their religious lives from his time to the present.

A very deep and inspiring book portraying many of the Buddhist philosophies that would benefit the lay and well learned alike. Although not the best for beginners there is much to take away and meditate upon within this great Buddhist writing.
Excellent narration also.
