Story
The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway's most enduring works. Told in language of great simplicity and power, it is the story of an old Cuban fisherman, down on his luck, and his supreme ordeal, a relentless, agonizing battle with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream. Here Hemingway recasts, in strikingly contemporary style, the classic theme of courage in the face of defeat, of personal triumph won from loss.

Story
After the War of the Gods, the demons were cast out and fell to the world. Mankind was nearly eradicated by the seemingly unstoppable beasts until the gods sent the great hero, Ramrowan, to save them. He united the tribes, gave them magic, and drove the demons into the sea. Ever since, the land has belonged to man, and the oceans have remained an uncrossable hell, leaving the continent of Lok isolated.

I have a good collection of Larry's books, I'm never disappointed with his writing, he knows how to tell a good story and keep you entertained to the very last chapter, much like the gray man series, I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series.

No surprise here, from child... Awesome!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely, I love lee child, I have only heard a few of his jack reacher novels, but they're great! I'm never dissapointed with lee child
What was one of the most memorable moments of Persuader?
The part where jack saves the boy and his mother from Paul and his devious pleasures, how he wasn't afraid to give his life to save others, like a good soldier offers his life to save innocent people.
What aspect of Dick Hill’s performance would you have changed?
I'm a truck driver, the cab of my truck can get noisy, I would much appreciate if he wouldn't drop his voice so much, he gets very hard to hear sometimes, unlike Scott brick or jay Snyder who are very nice to listen to when I'm driving
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yep! But I break it up over several days, because like I said, I'm a driver and I like to listen to a good exciting book to keep me awake when I get sleepy
Any additional comments?
Great work lee child! Love all your books!

What other book might you compare Empire Builders to and why?
I think I could compare this title to the Orion series, there is a lot of space travel and exploration in both
What about Stefan Rudnicki’s performance did you like?
I like Stefan Rudnicki, he is a very good narrator for truck drivers because he keeps his voice at a fairly constant volume, which is nice because I don't have to keep fooling with the volume control while I'm driving
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
