An adventure that echoes the reality of human history. a fantasy that could just as well have been how it was, how it is, and how it will be. Deep in prehistory of the mighty Nile before the age of ice faded in Europe of the North leaving north of Africa dry.
A hero in the age of gods.

In this episode, Orion fights the dinosaur god, Set. Time is fluid! The book was a cool rendition, but I thought that Orion showed too much emotion at times. He's a pawn and does what he's told...get over it and quit whining about it. The girlfriend plays quite a role, too. But, as always with Bova stories, there are quite a few people/beings/entities to track. I like the book enough to continue on to #4.

Riding Dinos into battle before it became a meme. This book was a gratifying adventure.

High Adventure.

Since the story is told in the first person, the choice of the narrator is really important. I think he does a good job bringing a voice to the character. The story is fun.

Fun Continuation Of The Series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I liked this book because of all the ways Orion rescued and trained the people he came across including the Neanderthal, Ben Bova has a good imagination

What was one of the most memorable moments of Orion in the Dying Time?

Most memorable part for me was where Orion got to see the Neanderthals in their home before the wars and finally saw who he was really fighting the whole time

What does Stefan Rudnicki bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like the character that he brings to the people in the story, something I can't do for myself

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No

Overall the Orion books are individually ok.this is now my third and the theme seems to be one of repeating familiarity. I almost feel like the author is presenting some religious perspective on reality and hoping by repeating it from book to book the reader will adopt it.

A repeating theme.
