Story
In the aftermath of a devastating tsunami and a series of undersea earthquakes, hordes of Clickers swarm onto the California coastline, slaughtering everything in their path. As the attacks spread to other parts of the world, humanity fights back, unaware that a second foe is about to emerge—Ob, the leader of a supernatural race of beings known as the Siqqusim, who have the ability to possess and reanimate the dead. Now, Earth faces an invasion from not one, but two enemies—the mindless and hungry Clickers, and the evil and equally ravenous zombies.

Great extension of The Clickers and The Rising universe. Also terrific narration by Chet Williamson, who is also an excellent writer by the way. Highly recommended!

Story
It doesn't seem like the perfect house, but screw it, it's good enough to rent for a year. Unfortunately for Boyd, Adeline, and their two young daughters, it's immediately clear they chose the wrong place. The nightmare begins with violent coughs and headaches. Food starts to rot almost as soon as they take it inside. A pet tarantula goes missing. Some family members begin to exhibit creepy behavior. Then the ghosts arrive, and all hell breaks loose....

I have been reading and enjoying Strand’s work for decades now and this was my second audible book of his (Wolf Hunt Trilogy was also excellent!)
This book was awesome! Great characters, terrific story, blockbuster ending - vintage Strand!
You can grab anything by Strand and have a wonderful time with it. I highly recommend everything he writes!

Jeff Strand is awesome anytime, but add Scott Thomas’s brilliant narration and you have a marvelous experience! I had to sit in my dark garage at home at times after drives because I didn’t want to get out of the car! Don’t miss this one, I mean three! George and Lou, baby!

Story
When Toby Floren was eight years old, he discovered a monster living in the woods behind his house. A ghastly, frightening creature with claws, fangs, and a taste for human flesh. As he ran out of the forest, screaming, Toby felt that he'd been lucky to escape with his life. Years later, Toby finds comfort with the creature. It's his own special secret - something that nobody else in the world knows about. Somebody to talk to. Somebody to confide in.

Another great Strand novel!

Strand has the unique ability to grab you from the first page, keep you engaged throughout, and give you a few laughs to go with your chills and thrills! This audiobook was particularly enjoyable due to the skill of the reader at distinguishing between characters with different voices. I hate it when reviewers give away major plot points, so I will leave you to the jacket blurb and just say Strand is a master at character development and dialog, and wringing emotion from the story and from the reader. Enjoy!!
