Publisher's summary

From best-selling authors J.F. Gonzalez and Brian Keene comes the wildest, pulpiest, most over-the-top installment in the Clickers series yet—a crossover with Keene's The Rising!

In the aftermath of a devastating tsunami and a series of undersea earthquakes, hordes of Clickers swarm onto the California coastline, slaughtering everything in their path. As the attacks spread to other parts of the world, humanity fights back, unaware that a second foe is about to emerge—Ob, the leader of a supernatural race of beings known as the Siqqusim, who have the ability to possess and reanimate the dead.

Now, Earth faces an invasion from not one, but two enemies—the mindless and hungry Clickers, and the evil and equally ravenous zombies. Both groups have only one goal in mind—the total extermination of the human race. But what happens when these two forces meet....

ehh...

Lack luster ending and felt rushed through in trying to finish up typical ending for this type of story line.

clickers and zombies!

This was a great clickers story in an alternate universe to the other clickers books. lots of action and the narrator is always great.

Gonzalez and Keene are two of my favorites!

Great extension of The Clickers and The Rising universe. Also terrific narration by Chet Williamson, who is also an excellent writer by the way. Highly recommended!

Good overall and i’m a fan of the seties

Good alternate telling to follow up the Zombie comments in the last Clicker story. Just wish the main characters development and culmination had more done.

ALL THE ZOMBIES. And the Clickers.

This one is fun. A solid zombie apocalypse movie, which clickers thrown in for spice. I do think it goes on a little long and the ending is abrupt and kind of unsatisfying, but overall it’s a good time. If you like zombies killing literally everything they see while occasionally doing battle with weird sea monsters, and you want s fin tease to other Keene stories, you’ll like this one! B+ from me.

Okay but not the best

Clickers 1 and 3 are the best, this one is like 2 where it’s on a larger scale and you just don’t care for the characters as much. Rising and it’s sequel are also a lot more enjoyable. This does however tie in his horror universe well. Was wondering though why there was no dark ones.

Clickers Vs Zombies.

Well, if you are looking for a sting em up including both the clickers and the zombies and not much else this is exactly what you will get with this book. As would be obvious for anyone who has read the two series these books are mashed up from, this will take place in a different sort of "alternative universe" than both the clickers and the zombies series. And also considering it does in one book what took three for the other two series each, it will be short, sweet and gruesome. That is, it will kind of be that. See, alot of unnecessary characters are in the book and frankly could have been shaved out.

I won't go too far beyond that because i did enjoy the book, but it felt like alot crammed into one book . The narrator did a fantastic job with the whole range of characters and really kept the story moving and kept me invested even though i had kind of already heard this story twice before.

Clickers vs Deadites

I feel like the first five chapters of this book were character introductions to people I forgot within the next three minutes only for them to pop up six chapters later and leave me wondering, who is this??? It just didn't hit the spot for a creature feature like the original Clickers book did.
