This historical novel had a good story to tell, but it was so filled with saccharin, and overloaded with adjectives, that I found myself saying, "Words, words, words! Just get on with the plot."

Really enjoyed the story and it was hard to stop listening. My only criticism is that the person reading the voices of the young boys or young men made them all sound old.
