Story
You can heal your teeth with sugar! Does this sound crazy to you? Do you think you need to give up all the foods you love in order to have healthy teeth or gums? Does it really have to be one or the other? Joey Lott, the author of How I Healed My Teeth By Eating Sugar, doesn’t think so. In this book, he reveals how he reversed a number of tooth and gum problems (cavities, loose teeth, and receding gums, to name a few) with a few dietary tricks (sugar included!) and inexpensive supplements. The regimen is simple, backed by science, and easy on your wallet. There’s more to dental health than fluoride and flossing. There are natural ways to heal your teeth and gums that don’t involve twice daily brushing and flossing. In fact, these standard methods of tooth care may not be doing as much for your dental health as you’ve been led to believe. Discover a new formula for repairing cavities, tightening up loose teeth, and healing receding gums that is natural and inexpensive. Find out which supplements really work and which may be over-priced and over-hyped. Learn about the vital role metabolism and hormonal health plays in your ability to regrow and re-mineralize your teeth. If you’ve been on the path of natural dental health for a while, you might be surprised by what you read! What would it be like to walk into the dentist’s office year after year and have a clean bill of health every time? Fillings and other expensive procedures often feel inevitable; it’s easy to feel powerless over our dental health, especially since we’ve been led to believe it’s impossible to regrow teeth. How I Healed My Teeth By Eating Sugar takes the reader on a journey through tooth structure and anatomy that reveals the truth of the situation: that our teeth are as much alive as every other part of our body.

A unique and interesting take on healing teeth
Reviewed: 10-06-22
The author makes some interesting recommendations that I've yet to hear anywhere else, specifically the importance of a healthy metabolism regarding tooth health. I also appreciated that he was realistic with his dietary recommendations, which are focused on adding to a diverse diet instead of restricting a diet (i.e. all grains are evil). thanks for the helpful recommendations on supplements that are both effective and very affordable!

Absolutely embarrassing audiobook production

Not impressed

Although not completely without value, and I concede that I did find a few points made by the author to be intriguing and thought-provoking, this book still was way off base. should we be honest beings with one another and with ourselves, absolutely we should. but the author did not provide any special strategies or techniques to help us implement how we should live our lives. on top of that the man is an atheist and thinks everyone else should be an atheist as well. it wasn't his language and use of curse words that offended me, but rather his arrogant attitude toward religion in general and people you try to live a good life and hold themselves to values that are lost on this author.

For a long time, I found myself possessing the majority of those traits. I thought, "This is just who I am. I can't change that." Wrong. So Wrong. Most of these traits were handed to me, and probably you too, without request. With the way our society is organized (media, school, parents, etc.), these character traits proliferate. However, it wasn't until I started Un-Learning, that I truly became the well-rounded confident man I am today. Free and fulfilled in ways you can't currently imagine.

Now I get it, you really opened my eyes to a number of glaring issues I've had for nearly my whole life. Now I just need to get busy becoming the man I truly am. I'm embarking on a new journey thanks to this book. Many thanks for your insight and wisdom, I may have stayed trapped in my weakened form for many more years had I not come across this book.

Russ Harris offers a surprising solution to low self-confidence, shyness, and insecurity: Rather than trying to "get over" our fears, he says, the secret is to form a new and wiser relationship with them. Paradoxically, it's only when we stop struggling against our fearfulness that we begin to find lasting freedom from it.

Finally, the missing piece of the puzzle! So much different from the last book I listened to on confidence, this author has a deep understanding of the topic and doesn't give you the same old "be positive" and "believe in yourself" crap you've heard over and over again. I'm putting these strategies and new understanding to use in business and in my personal life immediately! Soooo thankful I came across this book, where have you been my whole adult life? The information I've gained on confidence, values, and fulfillment is priceless. Fantastic work!
