This one is even more trite than her others. Unless your eyes need the exercise of frequent rolling, save your credit for something worthier.

Non-traditional litRPG but truly deep in it’s storytelling. Being a chess fan myself, I was drawn in quickly. At times the story seems to be moving slowly, but it’s just building your empathy with the characters. Love it and look forward to every new book! Andrea’s reading brings every character to life!

I’m not sure what I expected when I started from the synopsis, but WOW. What a ride.

RC Bray does his usual masterful narration, and we get a cameo appearance from another author read by Bray. The book is worth hearing for that alone (but would be fantastic even without it!)

You will not regret reading this book.

Fantastic story, though I think the ending could have been better, definitely a cliffhanger for a future sequel?

Author is a contender to be a Douglas Adams successor. Narrator is perfect for the role!

If you like heroines who do little but weep, this is the book for you. The storyline is sparse, and character development is less than minimal, but there are many pages devoted to tears.

Where does Washington's Crossing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In our long audiobook history (yes, all the way back to cassettes), this is the only book my wife and I have finished and immediately begun again. It is that good.

Would you be willing to try another book from David Hackett Fischer? Why or why not?

We would love to have audiobook access to ALL his works. The research is of extremely high quality, and Fischer has a true gift for bringing the people and events about which he writes into vivid focus.

Have you listened to any of Nelson Runger’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Nelson Runger's narrations are always superb, even when his source material is not.
