Story
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Entitled. Self Indulgent.

Most SEALS are about teamwork. Not sure if he was? But he comes across like it’s all about him. And that nobody else had hard lives. Most us in the Navy Amphibious command had tough childhoods.
David G just acts like everyone and everything must recognize HIM.
Some people just come across preachy. That’s Goggins!

Friday is Fabulous. It’s a great book with a sexuality sensationalized fantasy appeal. Friday is way ahead of its time. Written in the 60s. Though one could imagine it very soon from today.

Story
Meet Anita Thompson: she's young, she's lovely, she's clever, and she's a witch. A real one. Anita lives in two worlds: the modern world of supermarkets and sports cars, radio and rock-and-roll, where she is a thoroughly modern girl with a thoroughly modern interest in boys and fast living and her own independence. But she also lives in the ancient and rustic world of traditions, cauldrons, and familiars.
