I am up to #5 and really would love some sort of deal on all the books (on Audible.) I read/listened to #5 too fast and got done with it at least 22 days before my next monthly credit. And #5 ends abruptly right as the next crisis has just started... Guess I'll reread #5... I guess I'll check my local library for a hard copy too.

Story
Maggie Beaumont's luck is about to change. Sure, she's known for her bad romantic choices-her former boyfriend broke up with her by bringing his new girlfriend home for a visit. And then there was the crush she had on a gorgeous young Irishman, who turned out to be Father Tim, the parish's new priest. But romantic salvation has arrived in the form of handsome, if surly, fisherman Malone. It turns out there's a heart of gold underneath his barnacle-clad exterior. Will this catch of the day turn into the dish of a lifetime?

too many similar books, but they are good!

I listened to quite a few Higgins' books and now they are starting to sound the same.Xe Sands is the best but when you have the same author and the same performer...and you listen to more than 5 in a row... All the characters seem to jumble together. I might need a break with some other authors mixed in-between but I like the way Higgins writes! and I love Xe Sands ... so, I guess getting the different books' characters confused is normal? Maybe I need a male performer next time!

Story
From tragic beginnings as an aristocratic orphan to becoming the mother of the New Age spiritual movement, Alice A. Bailey is one of the modern era’s most misunderstood occult figures. Bailey’s journey is a story of faith, from orthodox Christian beginnings, through a protracted spiritual crisis, to a newfound belief in theosophy.

The voice is hard to understand, terribly hard!

The readers voice is not made for this. She speaks like she is eating or has a mouth full of marbles. And her pronunciation of common words and names is just pathetic. I could not understand most of what she read. I thought it was me but right after I played 3 other books and none of them gave me any troubles at all. Not my ears, but HER voice or the quality of the recording. I want to say it sounds "SMEARY," but that is hard to explain, I am asking for a credit. I'll buy this book and actually read it instead. She could not pronounce Todd Rundgren. A very simple name, said exactly like it is spelled and I still couldn't understand it after 3 times of rewinding and listening again and again. Most bigger words were like that... Audible needs to get the book reread if they want folks to buy it. Very frustrating book. I really want to know what it says. I have waited 45 years for a book like this and I cannot understand the reader! Alice A. Bailey deserves so much more.
