The story is captivating and grabs your attention from the first chapter. I love the growth of both characters as they work together to solve the mystery.

The story was engaging. I loved the characters and how sweet their relationship is. I also like that they communicated as mature adults. Their support for each other is beautiful.

This is such a beautiful story about making peace with your past and allowing love into your life.
Even though this title deals with recovery and the event is mentioned, it's never described in any way.
The spice is hot and just the right amount. The subject was handled with care and grace.
The narration was beautiful.

First, as a South African, it was very weird listening to a book playing out in SA but with a British narrator. If it wasn’t mentioned that they live in Johannesburg, I would never have guessed. The culture was British and the school system sounded American. There were no South African cultural influences. Sorry for the rant.

The narration was flat and everyone sounded the same. Got confused a lot of times by who were supposed to be talking.

Even though the story deals with a therapist and there’s a lot of talking, there’s not really deep conversations.

I'm about six hours in and cannot continue. In all those hours the a lot happens in this book, but the time the two MC's actually spent together is about 15min combined! The scenes run together so much that it's very confusing to keep track of what's happening. Conversations and interactions has no conclusion, it just jumps to a different scene with no pauses in between to indicate that the scene is done.

The story itself is kind of interesting, but nothing is explained or talked about. And it's about so many other things that there's really not any romance in it at all. The 2% of romance there is, is so haphazard, incomplete and jumping around that it's not making any sense.

The narration is also very monotone and without much emotion.

This is a very emotional story and it was amazingly done. From the first sentence it draws you in and I couldn't stop listening. You can feel the angst Kendra is experiencing throughout the story. I loved her relationship with Meghan and the support she got from her. I would have liked to see more of their conversations together, but that might just be me.

Emily Bauer did an incredible job narrating.

This story deals with such a sensitive topic and Jae approached it with such care and consideration. You can feel the emotions of the characters throughout the story. The way the story was handled was so beautiful.

And obviously the narration by the legendary Abby Craden was absolutely superb. Loved the voices for the characters.

The whole story just made me smile all the way through. I loved the slow build of their friendship and then their relationship. Honest communication is so rare in lesbian romance books, so I especially loved it here.

Narration by the amazing Angela Dawe was spectacular as usual.

This is such a cute story. I love how shy and awkward Scarlet is. No stupid misunderstandings and 3rd act breakup which I love in a story. Open communication between mature adults (even if they're young). I also liked Dakota a lot. How she's so much more mature than her age. Doesn't play games and knows exactly what she wants. It was very refreshing.

Great narration and once again I loved the awkward voice she used for Scarlet. You can feel the shyness radiating from her voice.

SPOILER....

3rd act breakup for such a stupid reason and it's so hypocritical because both MC's was guilty of the same thing.
