The story was great, definitely exceeded my expectations. My only issue within the story was someone who graduated the academy would KNOW not to announce the FBI or academy out in the open like that without knowing if their on assignment or not is insane.

As it has been heavily stated throughout the reviews, yes, this was a great story. Black excellence is all over most of the pages. Lawyers, judges and young men of HBCU's are portrayed and I love that. I do, however, wish that we'd gotten a more in depth look into Geri's clear obsession and stalkerish ways as they were introduced but not elaborated on. The offer Lamont took was never addressed or what happened to Tony. There were other surface topics and I get that some books have cliffhangers, but this ending seemed incomplete.

The women in this book all faced a different dilemma which made the story unique and kept my attention in order to see the ending. I would recommend for any woman to read as it gives an intimate look into sisterhood/friendship with the honesty and accountability we have to hold each other to.

This installment was needed for several reasons. It wasn't perfect in regards to what I as a reader WANTED, but respecting the process I understand that each moving part serves a purpose. Without spoiling it for anyone who comes to the reviews FIRST, just know that AA put some plays in motion for the next installment.

When I read the reviews, I realize that many readers are trying to not only RUSH a SERIES, but are selfish in a sense that a story doesn't always end or go the way you want it to. Readers try to rush a conclusion and dictate a storyline and that's crazy. A cliffhanger isn't a reason to rate a book low. A cliffhanger is a clear indication that there's MORE to the story which as a fan, shouldn't be a negative thing. Please take these reviews with a grain of salt and stop rating these authors low because of crazy reasons.

Overall, it was a good read. I will say, however, it felt like every time the story was going to take off, the story circled back to something that we'd already went through. For myself, the story was scared to be great! I'd still recommend this story and author because my feedback is subjective.

However, this story missed the mark for ME. I would still recommend this book/author because someone else may connect with it. Narration duo doesn't need an introduction or feedback.. they are without a doubt what made the story. I will also still support and read from this author.

After reading Nikita's First Lady 1 & 2 I was excited to jump into this book to see where Lady Arika ended up and how she would assist Angel. The overall story was good and I would recommend this book as well as other stories from each author.

There may have been a few details in this book about Lady A that I couldn't recall from the other books, like the late night call for prayer request from Bishop Howell.

All 3 installments were so entertaining! I laughed out loud more times than I can count. The story itself was cohesive and the author didn't fill books 2 & 3 with word for word recounts directly from the previous books. I loved what each character brought to the story. Awesome series with great narration
