good stuff

Overall the book is good but it doesn't really apply in my opinion to what most founders are going through this is more of a philosophical book and it does have good substance good history but it's not a good book for starting a business or for founders unless they really need a philosophical boost

Where does How to Win Friends & Influence People rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book ranks in my top 5.
As prior military, this book covers a lot of fundamental leadership styles that everyone should know and use. It also covers methods on how to win influence and gain respect. Any military leader or aspiring leader in general should read this.
As a person, who seeks personal development, this book is my highest rated and recommended book. After listening to it once, I want to buy the book as a reference guide. Using Dale's methods, you can really influence people and be a better person yourself. It's a awsome read with good background history.
As a founder of a startup, this book was instrumental. As a founder, and CEO or departmental leader, you need to be less technical and more of a manager. People skills are the hardest thing to have and develop, and I believe this book points you in the right direction. From every great tycoon to presidents, they have been people managers vs. technical professionals. This book will help anyone win friends, and influence people :).

this is not a book on how to run a business, or how to start a business, but to stay and keep going with your business. This book puts everything into perspective, and anyone can gain something from this no matter the experience!
