Regine Abel writes another FANTASTIC adventure

With sublime relationship building, romance with spice, and worlds to explore in this sci-fi quest, you won’t be able to stop at just one book. My first introduction to her work was the Prime Mating Agency series. This series seems to center more on a central plot of saving the worlds from the big bad than the individual world saving seen in each PMA book. The fantastic writing of characters evolving with their stories, in both developing healthy relationships through communication and understanding with their romantic partners as well as finding a place in their new world, is 100% what keeps me coming back for every book I can read by Regine Abel. She is now my go to author during a reading slump. If you want a sci-fi romance with adventure and soulmates, but don’t want unrealistic Insta love she’s your author. Her building is 🤌. I’m now off to read book 3.

As far as monsters go, I’m a screw up—if I’m not tripping over my own feet, I’m accidentally murdering someone (it’s a real issue, guys). Left with no choice, Dad decides to send me to Prodigium—otherwise known as Monster Academy—to train me on how to be a better monster. When bodies turn up on campus, I’m the prime suspect (not that I can blame them).

The humor was great. Wasn’t sure what I was getting when I started this listen. I enjoyed it. Slow burn though so I’m expecting the spice to start showing up in the next book or two.

I really enjoyed this title. It the first game oriented novel I’ve ever partaken of and it took me a moment to get past the “notifications” in the beginning. That small note aside, I love this story. I’m so disappointed the next volume isn’t out yet. I’ll be watching for it.
