SQL is used extensively since its relatively easy to learn and it can help you get information from a database that may not be available to people who do not know SQL. It is a considered a very flexible language and can be used in a whole variety of ways, because of this flexibility a lot of software products today use SQL to interact and communicate with databases. By learning this language, you will have an essential skill which you can use on one of the many products which are based on SQL.

SQL is not Micro$oft. This title should specify that it’s SQL Server. It should be more generic and less specific. Us open source people usually do not choose to install a limited free edition of SQL Server instead of a fully functional version of MySQL/MariaDB.

Structured query language, or SQL (pronounced "sequel" by many), is the most widely used programming language in database management and is the standard language for relational database management systems (RDBMS). SQL programming allows users to return, analyze, create, manage, and delete data within a database - all within a few commands.

A very very slow listening experience. Takes a long time to get to the story. Rather boring.

Story
Evans interweaves a broad narrative of the war’s progress with viscerally affecting personal testimony from a wide range of people - from generals to front-line soldiers, from Hitler Youth activists to middle-class housewives. The Third Reich at War lays bare the dynamics of a nation more deeply immersed in war than any society before or since. Fresh insights into the conflict’s great events are here, from the invasion of Poland to the Battle of Stalingrad to Hitler’s suicide in the bunker.

Great history and such a profound subject.

Very well written and presented. The author presented facts and timelines perfectly. I very much enjoyed this audible book. I just wish Victor Klemperer's story, often mentioned in this audible, was available on audible.com in English.
