Story
In Only Big Bumbum Matters Tomorrow, Damilare Kuku brings her signature humor, boldness, and compassion to each member of this loveable but exasperating family, whose lives reveal the ways in which a woman’s physical appearance can dictate her life and relationships and show just how sharp the double-edged sword of beauty can be.

Story
In her fantastically fun new series, Ellis' debut novel introduces a Kardashian-style family of money-hungry women who are determined to have it all. Over three generations, the Gibbons women of Chesterton have built their reputation as a family of shameless - but refined - gold diggers. But now one of them is abandoning the tradition.

Story
Transformative and breathtakingly honest, The American Queen is based on actual events that occurred between 1865 - 1889 and shares the unsung history of a Black woman who built a kingdom in Appalachia as a refuge for the courageous people who dared to dream of a different way of life. Over the twenty-four years she was enslaved on the Montgomery Plantation, Louella learned to feel one thing: hate. Hate for the man who sold her mother. Hate for the overseer who left her daddy to hang from a noose. Hate so powerful there's no room in her heart for love.

Another fulfilling listen from Tracy Brown. Love the characters and their realness. The author covers all the real life struggles of how it is to be black in America. I loved how the story wrapped up in a positive but realistic way. It made me feel that society still has a way to go with racial prejudice and injustice, but we should always continue to strive for the best for our families because we have equal rights to our dreams and a good life. Don’t let no ones stereotypes and prejudice keep us
