Story
When Emily Lane isn’t busy running her charming Christmas-themed store, “Under the Mistletoe”, located in the quaint tourist town of Fletcher’s Grove, she finds herself compelled to investigate not so quaint local murders. On the surface, Emily is a perfectly lovely, good-natured puzzle-solver and mystery lover. But she is hiding a secret past from everyone in town. And when Emily begins her personal investigations, Detective-Constable Sam Wilner, a smart and attractive cop—with a crush on Emily that is not completely unrequited—begins to wonder if there’s more to Emily than meets the eye.

Love the sound effects. Different from what I’ve heard on other audio books. I’ll be looking for more like this

Story
Naomi wasn’t just running away from her wedding. She was riding to the rescue of her twin. Too bad for Naomi, her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with a niece she didn’t know she had. Now, she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no home - and an 11-year-old to take care of. Since Naomi’s life imploded right in front of him, the least Knox can do is help her out. And just as soon as she's out of trouble, he can get back to his peaceful, solitary life. That’s the plan, until the trouble turns to real danger.

A waste of a credit for sure- this didn’t seem as much contemporary women’s lit as it was a Harlequin romance- complete with sex scenes- cringy at best. I did not enjoy this at all and won’t try this author again

Good story, didn’t care for the narrator

Predictable story. I didn’t care for the NY accent used for the mother. A retelling of the same story we’ve seen again & again.

Story
Before beginning her dream job as sous chef in one of Seattle’s hottest restaurants, Josie Avery takes a summer position cooking at a lakeside lodge in the remote Alaskan town of Ponder. Josie falls for the rustic charms of the local community - including Jack Corcoran, the crotchety keeper of Ponder’s famed sourdough starter, and, in particular, the quiet and intense Palmer Saxon, a famed master swordsmith. Josie and Palmer become close during the long Alaskan summer days, but Josie knows that, come fall, she’ll be returning to reality and the career she’s worked so hard for.

Narrator makes or breaks a book

I don’t care for the “midwestern” accent that Luke used. The nasal voices were grating on the ear.
Laurel Rankin was lovely.
Story was standard Christmas romance. I didn’t care for phrases like “my woman” used frequently seemed like the book was 30 years old.
