This book is one of those self-revelatory works that should be read and digested by each of us. Though it is dedicated to men, I found the principles to be applicable to women as well. The work is thought provoking and inspiring.

I read how poor the narration of this work was, yet I thought surely they were mistaken. No, it was just that bad. Maybe buying & reading the book would be okay, but a good herbal syllabus would be better!

I found this book difficult to like in the beginning as Emmy’s whineinf was so very annoying. Once the plot really became active, however; I was unable to put the book down until it was finished.

Overall, the book was an excellent experience. If you are like me an get very annoyed by weak, whiners, just bear with it and swallow your annoyance. The adventure will be worth the wait.

Harlan Coben is an amazing writer, but as an actor, he is challenged. I almost stopped listening to the book many times because the voices did not work for me, but the story was compelling.

I found this to be one of the best books in the D.D. Warren series. It was funny, tragic, and full if suspense to the last page.

Started out very slow for half the book or so. But when it finally picked up I was intrigued and couldn't wait to come back to it.

The story was action packed and suspenseful; I particularly loved the scene in the Judge's hotel where Kat and Mr. "B" meet again. Unfortunately, I did not like the narrator; her voice was uncomfortable to listen to and I was not impressed by the character voices, especially Bobby

What would have made New Spring better?

I tried three times to like this book and just cannot find myself associating with the characters nor finding a reason to care about what happens to them. It's like listening to someone buy groceries.

What did you love best about The Two Towers?

The Tolkien series is one of my favorite reads and to narrow down any one piece would be impossible to do. I am delighted to finally find these books performed in an unabridged manner on Audible! Rob Inglis did a wonderful job on the narration, and I found myself once again transported to the wilds of Middle Earth on a great exploration.

What other book might you compare The Two Towers to and why?

The Hobbit, the Fellowship of the Ring, and The Return of the King are all pieces of the same saga.

What about Rob Inglis’s performance did you like?

At first I was doubtful that Rob would be able to overcome the characters that Peter Jackson created in his film renditions of the Lord of the Rings series. I was very pleasantly surprised, however, as I became fascinated with Rob's portrayal of the characters. His singing voice is lovely and he was able to really pull off the characters.

Any additional comments?

If you love fantasy, you will not regret selecting this series. It will be an annual listening experience for me!
