About this listen

In this follow-up to the number one best-selling thriller Invisible, every perfect murder looks like an accident, but as bodies start to pile up across the country, two FBI agents realize that something horrible is happening.

FBI Agent Emmy Dockery is absolutely relentless. She's young and driven, and her unique skill at seeing connections others miss has brought her an impressive string of arrests.

But a shocking new case - unfolding across the country - has left her utterly baffled.

The victims all appear to have died by accident, and have seemingly nothing in common. But this many deaths can't be coincidence. And the killer is somehow one step ahead of every move Dockery makes. How?

To FBI Special Agent Harrison "Books" Bookman, everyone in the FBI is a suspect - particularly Emmy Dockery (the fact that she's his ex-fiancée doesn't make it easier).

But someone else is watching Dockery. Studying, learning, waiting. Until it's the perfect time to strike.

I enjoyed the first book so much it had me on the edge of my seat. This book kept me interested but liked the first one better. My only negative was the narrator. She ended her sentences w this weird tone to her voice. The way she portrayed Emile was very annoying. She sounded like that character on SNL (Kristen something) and at times sounded almost like a computerized voice. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

Kept me guessing

This was a very good book. It always takes me a lot to get through any book. This was no exception. I found this to be a busy book, so much going on. I loved the story, the writing and the performance. Fingers crossed for the main characters. Thanks for the story.

A lot happening.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book

I enjoyed this book, a few unpredictable twists. The ending was pleasant but not standard. The book made me cringe a little with anxiety while reading, but quickly smoothed over and moved on, not too gory or overdone drama, just right and a good story.

Interesting with some twists
