The plot was simple, with a few twists and turns, but this story kept me hooked. I enjoyed listening and found myself looking forward to Arthur's next journey.

I really liked this story and found Champ Westwood's many voices to be spot on for each character. I thought the plot could've been a little stronger in some areas, but I thought it was a good story overall. I also appreciated hearing this story from Brendan's perspective and learning more about what it is like to live with a mental illness. I found Brendan's experience of trying to solve a murder believable and that made me like this book even more. I highly recommend this book and thought Champ Westwood did an excellent job narrating.

This is the first book I've listened to by Bahni Turpin and now I can say she is one of my favorite narrators. Her tone in this story was realistic and I felt like I was hearing this story from Mary herself. I did feel like the plot was a little thin in some places, but this book embraced the reality of how unfair life can be. Overall, this was an excellent story that I couldn't pause because it was so good!

This is the first book I've read by Joshilyn Jackson and I was excited to hear her narrating it. This book captures a whole story from beginning to end and gives the readers a window into the main characters' frames of mind, which I found to be realistic. This story had twists and turns throughout but also had times that were slow and flat so the reader could really grasp the emotions the characters were feeling. Overall, I thought it was a great read and Jackson did an amazing job as the narrator!

I was a little hesitant to choose this book because it seemed like the podcast/book POV could be confusing. However, I was impressed by the reviews and decided to give it a try. I was blown away by this audiobook!! This performance was incredible and the plot was filled with suspense. They characters were dynamic and their personalities seemed familiar and authentic. I also loved that Courtney Summers was able to let her readers understand the devastation that can follow you after a traumatic event like Sadie's because it's something society tends to usually hide. This is one of those books that gives you information piece by piece from different perspectives so you can try to "solve the mystery" and combines that with the perfect amount of drama and suspense. This was an awesome read!!

Loved this book! If was an interesting story that was dynamic and twisty. Kira Peikoff was able to perfectly capture the true emotions felt after traumatic events that are often only seen behind closed doors. She tapped into the ugly truths about issues that are prominent in our society today and made me resonate with every main character in this story. I will look forward to reading more books by her in the future!

The narrators of this story were incredible too. They captured their characters so well and made the book so exciting! I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend for anyone that enjoys thrillers.

I ended up really enjoying this book. I thought the story was a little hard to follow at the beginning because of the time jumps and the different characters. After getting about halfway through, I was listening as much as possible. Lisa Jewell does a fantastic job of describing the characters and the setting and I had a clear vision of what was happening. Overall, it was a good listen with a decent story plot. At times, the plot fell a little flat but the suspenseful endings of most chapters was enough to keep going. I hope this becomes a movie!

The story itself was important and the way Kate del Castillo read the script was wonderful. However, I felt like this was not a good choice for an audiobook: The characters basically sounded the same, sometimes her accents were difficult to understand, some of the phrases are completely spoken in Spanish, and the actress-reading-a-script aspect was odd and made it more confusing to me. Although I did like the story, I don't feel like I understood it fully and wish I could've seen it instead of listening to it.

I read this book for an assignment and expected it to be dull and simplistic because of it's length and target audience. However, I was intrigued by the slightly mysterious plot and admired the main character's choice to raise his daughter instead of placing her up adoption. Overall, I really enjoyed listening to this book and want to read the whole series now!!
