This was a well thought out and compelling book. I would also suggest the madness of crowds like Douglas Murray. there's a lot of change happening in the world. And it really seems like media outlets and other traditional sources of news can't really be trusted to give a good analysis of how our world is changing. but I found myself compelled to seek out information on this topic. both of these books do a wonderful job of getting as close to the truth as anything I've seen.

This author is great by both of his pen names. But when he says Randi, he really means it. Having read just about everything he's written I probably prefer the more toned down version. But you can't just skip this pen name either because the universe is all contiguous and you would miss interesting connections.

This was another great book. I've read everything this author has written under both pen names. And they consistently belt out good material. I would say for this one in particular though The balance of sex to action could have been a little bit better. Not that the, ehem Randi bits weren't good. But at times it did sort of feel like they took away from the exposition rather than adding to it.

This was a very well conceived story from many angles. I liked how it tackled a lot of different topics. And I'd like to clarify my rating. I deducted one star from the performance of this audiobook not because the voice actor did anything wrong but more because the editing was done strangely. The voice actor did a wonderful job and I would give him five stars. But whoever edited this together put in a lot of strange and unnecessarily long pauses when one person stops speaking and another person starts speaking.

I found book 2 a real struggle to get through. This one was much better but there's still room for improvement. However I will say that it appears as though that improvement is taking place. Kind of like the characters in this book keep leveling up I would say that the skill of the author keeps leveling up too. I'll probably keep reading stuff that they write.

imagine your favorite breakfast cereal. Now imagine it's been left out for too long, way too long. You now have an idea of what this story is going to be like. There's a good story here somewhere. And I really don't want a dog the author. This was very close to being good. One of the best and worst things I can say about this story is that I really wanted to like it, but I found myself having to really fight to get through the pages.

I've read just about everything this guy has written and it is all very well-constructed and thought out. Just the right balance of humor and character development. And he has one hell of an imagination.

I ended up here after I ran out of Fimbulwinter. This is a lackluster replacement. I didn't like the characters and the story seemed anorexic. I don't like leaving things unfinished but this is the first book in a long time that I have considered not finishing.

The trapped video game genre is definitely one that expanding. It offers an experience that is unique in the sense that anyone can imagine themselves downloading and playing a game and it's a really short jump from there to being immersed in it in the way that this describes. This is not a new concept but it is a compelling one and this is done in a good way it appears to be a native English production I've read several variants of this story that were written by people who are not native English speakers and it is always obvious. My one complaint with this story is not the performance the performance was masterfully done you really believe like there's 10 different people speaking to you at different points in the book. But when the reader switches from a voice that is meant to convey thoughts they are thinking to ones that they are speaking the volume level drops, the spoken words are at a much lower volume and the thought words are added almost uncomfortably high-volume so you are going to spend the majority of this book alternatively being blasted by sound and wondering if you could hear what they just said.
