About this listen

My name is Sam Ryder. I was abducted from Earth and brought to a planet called Tor, a world of dying goddesses and deadly monsters. I was leveled up - twice now - transformed from a slightly overweight gamer with no real career prospects into a man-beast capable of slinging a massive hammer around like it's made of feathers and cotton.

At this point I've already faced one of the massive demon overlords known as the Morgoss - those who are responsible for the overthrow of the Three goddesses and the predicament we find ourselves in. But I survived, along with several of my allies.

This is the continuation of my story.

Note: This book has monster slaying, cursing, heavy violence, and a group of exotic goddesses and alien women. Mature listeners only.

The narrator's are exceptional at their craft. I was skeptical at first, but am really enjoying this series. Characters are goofy and sometimes extremely predictable. But when you want to escape and become someone else for awhile this would be a great aeries to do just that. Enjoy at your own risk.

Getting really good!

Good theory poor execution, To many holes, in the story, characters, and overall plot line. For instance: thousand of years tried every variable of success only for a guy with basic intelligence to figure out how they should proceed for survival and why would these supposed goddess listen..(because he “believes different or “feels there is a better way”), not intelligence or experience or special ability.

Mediocre at best.

I dont particularly care for the narrator so that may have effected my opinion. This book in particular has alot constant MC internal dialogue most of it is constantly reiterating things already said or thought. Some is him pondering obvious plot holes but then offering no answers and the rest him constantly drooling over women. The actual plot and action isnt bad if you like the narrator just slow moving with alot of tangential thought threads that get tedious.

mostly filler

This was an ok listen. There was just something about it that only halfway kept my attention. There was nothing but sex and the same fight everyday. It seemed to be missing something.

Just O K

imagine your favorite breakfast cereal. Now imagine it's been left out for too long, way too long. You now have an idea of what this story is going to be like. There's a good story here somewhere. And I really don't want a dog the author. This was very close to being good. One of the best and worst things I can say about this story is that I really wanted to like it, but I found myself having to really fight to get through the pages.

Soggy
